thanks to the great A levels, i've finally come to terms with the fact of my dimwittedness. i always knew i wasn't quite the brightest person around, but i never thought(hah, i actually have the ability to think!) it was this bad.
argh... damn A levels! i'm so freaking pissed with all of the papers and with myself. the chem paper today was chicken, BUT, someone decided not to study for it and study for econs instead! so that someone was staring at the paper, thinking "i know where the answer can be found! but oh no, i didn't study and memorize! so i've got no idea how to answer this now!" fantastic right? everyone's going to score so well for the paper and i'm going to be at the bottom end of the bell curve. the econs paper was weird. so weird that i didn't know what they wanted me to write for the answer. the only question i thought i knew how to do, i screwed it up. i totally missed out the "both actual and potential" part. so i was happily talking about my policies and didn't answer that part of the question. am i not screwed or what? if the final result turns out to be as messed up as i think, i don't know if i should actually retake this thing. if not, where else can i go? i feel like i've totally wasted my two years in jc! sigh...
we spent 12 years of our life in this torturous education system, we mug like crazy for these national exams, get into university. all for a "better" starting job with a slightly higher starting pay. and i heard that singapore's universities are one of the few left in the world that still looks at overall exam results for entry! other unis they will judge you base on your passion and the subjects that concern that course. not all of it!
bah. ok, i should stop ranting.
don't feel like studying for the rest of the papers anymore! ah...
